BIO
Realisa Masardi is a lecturer in the Department of Anthropology, Universitas Gadjah Mada Indonesia. Currently, she is a PhD candidate in University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands focusing on teenage asylum seekers and refugees in Indonesia. Realisa has extensive experience in the area of child rights and youth studies especially on child education, child labour, children in migration, and child refugees. She has published some books and articles about various issues concerning children and young people. Her latest article about unaccompanied minors in Indonesia was published in Inside Indonesia.
